Today we were up early loading up all the rolly pollies in the back of the van to head into town for their vet check. They did not get breakfast because sometimes on their first car ride pups with a full stomach get car sick. Guess what happens when pup gets car sick? Yep, they puke and that would be a huge mess with 11 pups all getting sick at the same time. So, no breakfast before the first car ride if you want to keep your car clean and nice. Also, something else we learned the hard way. No puppy chow! When pups are feed puppy chow, which has too much protein for these fast-growing dogs, they can grow faster than their muscles can keep up and get the shakes. So, just regular adult dog food works great.

Oh, and all pups got a clean bill of health, a couple of small owies from playing with each other, otherwise they are all great and ready to go.
